To reduce the burning loss of the induction furnace,

the following points should be specially reminded:

(1) It is best to put clean materials into the furnace,

and it is a taboo that the furnace materials are dirty and miscellaneous.

(2) A high-power furnace is used,

supplemented by a reasonable charging operation to achieve rapid smelting.

It is especially important to shorten the melting period

and prevent overheating of the bottom of the furnace.

(3) The molten iron is overheated,

and the composition of the molten iron

will fluctuate due to fractional tapping and casting delays.

(4) On the basis of clarifying the composition of various charge materials,

the ingredients should be carefully calculated.

When batching, be sure to take into account the amount of

C removal and Si increase caused by "self-boiling"

in the later stage of smelting.
