Inoculation is an important link to improve the quality of cast iron.
After more than ten years of efforts,
my country's inoculants have basically achieved
serialization and commercialization.
Nowadays, domestic inoculants are mainly silicon and carbon silicon series.
Silicon-based inoculants have a low melting point and are suitable for
various molten irons with high carbon and low carbon,
and high sulfur and low sulfur, and are the most widely used.
The composite ferrosilicon has a strong inoculation effect
and a small amount,
which causes little fluctuation of the chemical composition of
the molten iron and stable quality of the cast iron.
